Artists often find themselves having to decide if they want to make something that feeds their soul or something that makes them money.   A rare few have figured out how to do both.   I hope to find this balance someday but for now, every once and a while, I shut my brain down, and I do what makes me happy.   The art I truly love to do doesn’t have a political message.  You will never hear me spout about how it represents an emotional trigger or struggle.  The art in my heart is not a statement but a vessel.    Something I use to transport myself to a meditative space where my brain shuts down and I can just be.  I let it take me where it wants to go.  Not having a plan is the point.  What it is meant to be it will become and I get to enjoy the quite ride along the way.    I start with a basic idea and draw one layer, then another layer underneath, then on top, back and forth, over and under, until I reach the level of detail that speaks to me.    When the piece is done it’s almost like I wake back up to see, for the first time, what I created.  This true art of my heart is the only thing that shuts off all the white noise of my life and let’s me just exist and breathe.

Each print is 24”x24” and printed on high quality, acid free, artist rag paper.  It is shipped rolled in a box with a certificate of authenticity. Frame not included.
